Structure of the Course

Day 1 Induction

The course begins with an induction session featuring a PowerPoint presentation designed to give you a clear understanding of the Ofqual practical assessment criteria and the Revival Academy processes you’ll follow throughout your training.

You will be handed a scheme of work outlining your course schedule and how to access our online learning portal, for your theory materials, practical assessment videos, and your course manual.

Your trainer will work with you to create an individual learning plan tailored to build on your previous experience, enhance practical skills, and fill in any gaps in your learning.

Day 2 & 3 Practical Assessments

The practical training for Chemical Peels, Microneedling, begins with recap on the tutor-led demonstrations you will have watched on the E- learning platform, ensuring you fully understand the Ofqual assessment requirements—particularly valuable for those already working in the industry to refine techniques and eliminate poor habits. You will then practice these protocols on live models under observation, and completing treatments to the client satisfaction and assessment standards. Once proficient, you will complete a formative assessment designed to build confidence and prepare you for the final summative assessments, which are observed by our assessment team.

Day 4 & 5 Theory and Practical Exams

Once you have successfully completed your theory assignments, your assessor will schedule your final summative practical assessment, observed by the awarding body’s External Quality Assurer (EQA), at the final stage of your course, which is pre-booked to coincide with the scheduled EQA visit, ensuring a smooth and timely completion of your qualification.
