These in-demand treatments are not only popular among clients but very profitable and easy to learn.There is no theory exam; practical training and assessments are conducted in-class, while theoretical learning and assignments are completed remotely. Course Overview

In this course, you'll gain knowledge of the health and safety protocols essential for establishing a laser controlled area, alongside mastering skin rejuvenation procedures for each laser application on both the face and body. This unit uses the Q Switch laser, equipped with 532 nm and 1064 nm wavelengths for targeting and eliminating skin lesions and pigmentation issues across both the epidermal and dermal layers. Additionally, the Carbon peel technique, compatible with all skin types, is introduced as an effective solution for enhancing skin tone, reducing acne scars, and achieving the Korean glass skin effect while the Fiber Laser is used for treating red veins on the face and body. 

Prior to the start of the course, you will receive a  theory PowerPoint presentation, a student manual and assignments to complete, as part of your remote study. 

This ensures that the majority of your course time is devoted to hands-on practice, which is vital for building confidence and competence in delivering laser treatments professionally in a clinical setting.

  • UV40414 Skin Rejuvenation

The Level 4 Laser skin rejuvenation unit teaches the red vein and skin lesion removal with the Q-Switch laser, featuring 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths for the epidermal and dermal pigmentation.

You will learn to carry out the Carbon facial using the 1320 nm to improve the skin texture and radiance, lighten darker skin tone and  stimulate Collagen production.

The  Fiber laser using the 980nm will teach you to remove a wide range of vascular lesions, including spider veins, broken capillaries, telangiectasia and cherry angiomas on the face and body.

There is only 1 practical unit in the award, the summative assessments in this unit are carried out in class, while the assignments are completed online, remotely. 

There is no theory exam.

Level 3 Award in Facial Electrotherapy or CPD Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetics 

Structure of the Course

DAY 1 Training in the Carbon Facial

You will learn how to use the laser machine and watch a practical demo of the Carbon laser peel on a model. Followed by a hands on practice session of the carbon laser peel on each other or a model, also mastering how to use and collaborate the laser settings, carry out consultation and a step by step Carbon laser peel.

DAY 2 Training in Skin blemishes Pigmentation and Red vein removal

You will be scheduled to practise a range of Skin lesion removal on different models throughout the day using all 3 Wavelengths and on skin types from I-V on multiple clients. 

Once you are proficient and have successfully carried out your formative assessments, you will be booked for the final summative assessments with our examiners.

Portfolio of Evidence

Optional- Depending on your competency level you may be required to come back for another day to complete your assessments,  hand in the assignments and complete the portfolio, ready for sampling by our Assessor and IQA.
